Cure Acne and Scars Naturally.

by Corey Evans

In some point of our lives, all of us have experienced the suffering of those painful pimples appearing on our skin. They might even cause us to postpone a few commitments we may have. So, we stopped eating greasy food and started a full skin hygiene. We also stopped using our favorite make up or stopped shaving because of the pain. What is worst, our skin isn't getting better. But the truth is that none of these changes will solve a common skin disorder, known as acne. Fortunately the solution exists, and what is better, it is a natural one.

Biology Solution in Acne Cure

This problem, known as acne or acne vulgaris, is an inflammatory skin disorder that can, eventually, lead to a bacterial infection. Everywhere we have hair we also have pores and within them their follicles. Just think of a cross-section of the skin layers. On the first layer we have hair, then the follicle and besides there is a gland that secretes sebum (oily substance) to protect hair and skin, called sebaceous gland. These glands respond to hormonal changes like the one related to increased testosterone production especially during puberty. These glands start to secrete more sebum and mix with dead cells, blocking the pore and causing the trapping of bacteria, producing painful pimples that can spread to our face, neck, chest, back or upper arms. Sometimes, we get pus-filled pimples as a result of the body's immune system reacting to the infection. There are three different types of bumps: whiteheads, blackheads, and pimples. A whitehead appears when a pore gets clogged-up and bulges out from the skin; a blackhead is produced when too many skin cells clog the pore and; a pimple is a result of sebum, bacteria and dead skin cells that make their way under the skin, usually after a lesion has appeared in the pore. In many cases this skin problem ends when puberty does, but in some cases acne can affect the skin an entire life time. Another problem is that when acne disappears scars are left as a result of injury and tissue repair.

Biological Ingredients Without Bieffects

A regular acne cure can in the long run damage your body, so it's important to find an acne cure that doesn't have side effects. Fortunately, much evidence demonstrate that beneficial properties extracted from nature enable us to solve acne with natural skin care treatments. One of these compounds is Salycilic acid, extracted from the willow Salix nigra found in north America. This biological ingredient helps slowing down the shedding of the cells so they don't clog the pore, and what is best, it doesn't irritate the skin unlike the synthetic one. Other examples are glycoconjugates and antioxidants extracted from the garden snail Helix aspersa, all with skin regenerative characteristics. This ingredient has proven its regenerative worth through scientific studies done in Spain and USA, having beneficial properties in the treatment of acne, scars and even stretch marks. A different type of natural ingredient is the modified carbohydrate glucomannan obtained by the Japanese Konjac tuber (root) which reduces the surface tension of oil and facilitates its dispersion into droplets.

Cure Acne and Treat Your Skin

It's hard to find a skin care treatment that in the long term doesn't' damage our body, but choosing natural products is a healthy way of taking care of our skin. Don't mindlessly reach for just any product may later end-up irritating your skin or doing nothing more than adding a little moisture to dry skin instead of a final solution to scars, stretch marks or acne. Besides, most products are nothing more than a synthetic imitation of natural ingredients. Then, do you want to treat your skin with a 'fake' ingredient or is your skin worth something real?
