Almost all skin care product lines you see this days, whether pricey or cheap, a clever concoction of natural actives or the new molecules of a pharmaceutical discovery; endorsed by celebrities, cosmetic giants, or doctors, promotes the same basic cleansing, exfoliation, moisturizing, toning, nourishing and concealing routine, and do not address the root cause of your skin concerns.
No wonder it is so hard to find something that works. If you want to see a real difference in your skin, there is now an easy way for healthier beautiful skin.
Keep reading below and find why those fanciful lotions and potions that are now sitting there looking good in your bathroom don’t work for even basic cleansing and moisturizing. And how you can easily deeply clean, dissolve dead, dull and worn out or abused skin with enzymes, while also moisturizing and properly nourishing your skin.
Also, why BIOCUTIS® skin care products will keep your skin clean, hydrated, firm, younger looking, radiant, and protected from the deleterious effects of solar radiation and free radicals, while also repairing and radically regenerating skin structures and cells to banish all signs of damaged or stressed skin, where others have failed.
And after two months or so you may even be joining the thousands of women who have stopped wearing foundation because they no longer need it. And look forward to a lifetime of healthy skin and graceful aging. Does your skin care regimen do that?
Adding vitamins to a hot fudge sundae doesn’t make it healthy. Adding good ingredients to liquid cleansers doesn’t make them any better for your skin.
The vast majority of facial cleansers are in a liquid, gel, foam or rinse-off form. That’s why none of them work.
There are three problems with all cleansers in this form:
Try this experiment: Put some lipstick on and then drink water. Notice the lipstick stays fresh. Now eat a few French fries. Like magic – no more lipstick! To dissolve the daily accumulation of make up, oil and impurities, you need something with a little bit of oil in it. Or, instead of a makeup milk cleanser you may want to try cleansing your skin with a little bit of virgin olive oil.
Don’t let the fact that foaming and gel cleansers feel refreshing fool you into thinking they are cleaning or removing make up well. If you want to feel refreshed, just splash your face with warm, and then cold water. This is also naturally toning and firming – without chemicals or dryness!
The goal of good skin care is to not need to cover up your skin. This is what thousands of women and men have achieved after just a few weeks or months on our skin products.
Frankly, it is difficult to understand how companies that claim to offer cleansers and moisturizers that will result in a beautiful complexion, go on to say you need to cover up your face if you really want it to look good.
We understand that many women feel naked without powder or foundation, but these products actually contribute to the same problems they are designed to cover up. It’s the FORM of powder that is the problem – and liquid foundations aren’t much better. Adding minerals or any other good ingredient doesn’t solve the inherent problems, which are:
*Powder sticks in the pores and is difficult to remove. Over time the pigment from both foundation and powder builds up and can cause uneven skin tone.
*All foundations are at least a little drying but one of the purposes of powder is to dry out your skin to give you a matte finish.
*Unless you clean them after each use, the brushes and puffs you use to apply powder and foundation are not sanitary after the first time you use them, so you end up re-applying previous days make up, oil and impurities. Not a recipe for healthy skin!
*Your skin is never clean with these products on them and they both deposit dozens of unnecessary ingredients on your face.
*If you’re not using a cleansing milk, and wiping it off with disposable wipes instead of just rinsing, you are not removing your make up at night and it is building up in your pores, causing more and more problems over time.
Any day you can go without powder or foundation, you will be doing your face a favor!
All chemical exfoliants work the same way, so no matter which one you use, they all produce the same result
Retin-A, Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid and other chemical or so called natural acid exfoliating products work by dissolving the “glue” that holds the skin cells together so they fall off faster than they naturally would, and reveal newer, fresher skin cells below. So basically they work by irritating your skin. But they do not actually remove anything. Many people often see a good result at first, but over time, the daily dissolution of the skin structure causes increasing dryness, redness and sensitivity.
The Biocutis® serum in all our skin care products makes things easier and healthier because the serum includes messenger molecules that differentiate between healthy and damaged or dead cells and natural enzymes designed by nature to act in concert with those distinctions and only dissolve the worn out damaged skin cells and proteins, not the healthy ones. It is the beauty and genius of an enzyme NON-trauma skin exfoliation.
Next to staying out of the sun, mild, daily non-trauma exfoliation and deep pore cleansing are the most important elements for a lifetime of healthy skin
Even if you are using the most ‘advanced’ skin care product line for your skin, if you are not gently getting rid of damaged skin cells and protein tissues (collagen and elastin) and deep cleaning your pores every day, you are simply not going to have the results you seek.
By using a make up cleanser milk (if you use makeup) and one of our BIOCUTIS® skin care products every day you assure that all traces of make up, oil and impurities are gone from both the surface of your skin and down inside your pores. You guarantee that only the youngest, plumpest skin cells are on the surface, in all their healthy, glowing beauty. And your pores can shrink when they are emptied each day, instead of being engorged with make up, oil and impurities.
With proper daily treatment and deep pore cleansing you do not need expensive or aggressive exfoliation treatments such as microdermabrasion or chemical peels. Why let everything build up and then harshly attack your skin to remove it?
In our skin care products line you achieve this with one out of our 16 BIOCUTIS® skin care products. You choose the BIOCUTIS® product that is right for your skin concern and alleviates your specific symptoms while addressing the root cause of those symptoms.
Apply a little of the product on previously cleaned skin twice a day every day, in a way similar to how an oyster coats an irritant —which causes a state of inflammation triggered by cell lining damage—.
The oyster is of the same family of the snail (a mollusk), and it secretes a smooth, lustrous substance called nacre around the irritant to prevent it from disrupting its soft tissues. In the process it yields something as precious as what you are after: a beautiful Pearl, just as soft, beautiful looking and healthy as you wish your skin looks.

I think I know what the author expert is getting at about how celebrities are so pro active about endorsing these infomercialized skin care products. So if I understand correctly, any liquid cleansers should be avoided and you should use any products which have a little oil in them or you can also go totally natural and use what the ancient Greeks and Romans used for bathing, shaving and moisturizing…Use virgin olive oil. This is such sensible advice. I have never been a sucker for commercialized skin care product lines. Thankfully, my skin does not have any severe maladies which would make me the sort of person that makes these companies lots of money: a desperate, easy and willing buyer.
This article reveals some facts I have never heard before and maybe that is because the skin care product lines which advertise on print and television do not want people to know these things. And I can only assume that they prefer to fool the public with slick and savvy copy writing rather than manufacture a better product because of the profit margins. The only way they can generate the sort of profits they want is to produce products using the chemicals which they have been using for so long.
I have found the best thing to clean your skin is to revert back to the basics with Ivory soap and warm water. I am not saying that the BIOCUTIS products don’t work, I am just saying that it sounds like it could be expensive and if you can’t afford something like this skin care product that Ivory soap will work just as good.
Let’s be honest, most skin care products today do not work because they are made out of water and perfumes for the most part, the amount of moisturizer in them is minimal as well as cleanser, therefore you will smell good but you will not be getting the moisture you thought you paid for. It sounds like this product is different though in it’s contents, and it sounds like it may actually work which means it would be worth the money you pay for it. Do you happen to have any testimonies to how well it works that you could post in your next blog?
Dear Kelly,
Thanks for reading our blog and we appreciate your feedback!
You can go onto http://www.bioskincare.com to read on how our product works, testimonies and many other things!
We do a lot of damage to our skin each and every day, and we need something strong that will repair the damage and restore it’s healthy look and feel. I have to agree with the comment that Kelly left as far the lotions and cleansers that we are familiar with are mostly water and smell good lotion that doesn’t even moisturize your skin, in fact I think that some of the smell good lotions might make the problem worse. Post some testimonies from actual customers and I am sure they will help sell the product on it’s own
I agree with Jennifer’s comment about the skin care product manufacturers don’t want you to know the things that are in the skin care products that you have been spending your money on lately. They don’t want you to know you have been purchasing perfumed, watered down essentially hand lotion. This product sounds like a great product and from the information given I think it would work better than most. However James has a point in his comment as well about going all natural with virgin olive oil or maybe even baby oil, I have never used it for a cleansing product but I am sure it would remove make-up and such fairly easily.
This article repeats some of what my wife has been telling me for years. She complains about the expensive stuff she buys that is mostly made of water (yet, she still buys it) and how it doesn’t have the proper ingredients that would actually be beneficial to you. I would imagine it would be good for me to be doing something about my skin as well! Thanks for the post!
I was really wondering about that all along. Thanks for posting it!
I recently read an article about using snails in skin care products. Not it’s about oysters. Are all mollusks, suitable for this application? If so, why would one use oysters? Aren’t they more expensive? Is there any documented evidence anywhere that proves these type of products are better than others?
Dear Eduardo,
Thanks for your feedback!
Our products are all natural and work with your skin to bring back healthy and gorgeous skin, unlike other products that are all chemical and sometimes do more harm then good to skin, if they do anything at all!
We welcome you to visit http://www.bioskincare.com to see testimonies, and more evidence as to why our products really do work!
Your post was very educational in more ways than one. I never knew that a pearl was formed because something got inside the shell of an oyster and irritated it so that part was very interesting. Back in biblical days they used to clean their bodies with olive oil as you suggest in your article but I never considered cleaning something with oil, I just can’t fathom putting oil on to take oil off. However I do think it would make it so your skin had a very natural glow to it. Exfoliation is something I have never really worried about, and I think that is because I never understood why it was important, now I get it. Thank you for all the information you gave us here it was very educational and I enjoyed reading it.
This is a very good article. I was wondering though about why some beauty products don’t work until now. So thanks a lot.
If I am not mistaken, skin care products has become a billion dollar industry. And what makes up most of this inflated figure are the many high priced skin care lines which run national advertising campaigns and infomercials using the high priced power of celebrity endorsements. To add to what was hinted at in this dialogue, the idea of using virgin olive oil on the skin could be an ancient method. I used to watch the HBO series, Rome, and in more than one episode, there were scenes which depicted high ranking Roman officers using it to clean and moisturize their skin. I also learned about this in a documentary about the 300 Spartan soldiers. In that film, it indicated that those soldiers would use olive oil and razors to shave their body hair and scrape the scum from dirt and sweat off of their bodies while they were camping out in the field.
